I’m Maddy – a traveller, a mother, a filmmaker, a life vision seeker and a Certified Lifebook Leader, dedicated to helping you discover who you truly are and what you really want in life.

I am the mother of 4 incredible young people aged 21 – 36, grandmother of 4 gorgeous little boys, and partner to a wonderful man who is sharing in and supporting my life journey. In July 2024 we sold our rural home – ‘Fairbanks’ in New Zealand, in order to live a big part of our life visions – longterm travelling!  – NZ, Australia, Singapore, UK, Portugal and Spain so far …  we have started a vlog called 50 plus backpack where we are sharing our journey together as we endeavour to travel light, independently, and with a modicum of comfort.

 In the past I spent time supporting adults – both young people starting out their work lives and new Mums finding their parenting paths, which has been both a privilege and a source of learning for me.  I also homeschooled and travelled with my own children.  My post-children career has been as a creative film producer, with a current shift into podcasting and editing – digital nomad friendly skills!

 I first came across Lifebook in 2018, and have found it to be the most holistic, customised and effective, personal and business development programme out there.  For the first time, I was able to verbalise (and write down) my personal life vision; to set goals, strategies and habits; to work towards my vision. My Lifebook is all about my life and my journey, but wouldn’t have happened without the Lifebook programme scaffold that keeps me baby stepping towards my dreams.  My goal is to help you author the life you truly love, to live an extraordinary life. I want to help fellow seekers delve into themselves and work on shifting their mindset for growth. I wholeheartedly believe that the only way to really give back to and improve our world is through working on ourselves first.
